Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Metallic Red”

  • New Jordans 2017 will be bringing back the original “Metallic Red” colorway of the Air Jordan 1. For this retro release, the shoe will re-release for the first time with Nike Air branding on the tongue and will not include a Jumpman on the heels. For those that can remember, the Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Red” returned back in 2009, but that release wasn’t true to its original look. It lacked the beloved “Nike Air” branding and came with the Jumpman logos instead.Rocking the same motif and color-blocking of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Metallic Navy, this OG version of the Jordan 1 comes with an all-White leather upper offset by the hits of Metallic Red (patent leather) on the collar and Nike Swoosh. Additional Red can be seen on the Wings branding, lining and tongue Nike Air branding, while the White midsole and Red outsole complete the look of the shoe.Part of the Metallic Series, this original colorway of the Air Jordan 1 comes covered in a buttery White leather throughout the entire upper with hits of glossy Varsity Red on the ankle, Swoosh, and Wings logo on the ankle.
The 2017 Air Jordan Shoes originally released in 1998 causing this to become one of the first rare Jordan 13 Low to hit the streets. the shoe appears to be actual tumbled leather, and a good quality leather at that (we'll only know for sure once in-hand).ext up for the Air Jordan 1 High is the original “Metallic Red” colorway, which has retroed before, but never in the more-accurate ‘OG’ construction. No doubt looking much better than the version from the “Do the Right Thing” pack from 2009, the white leather Air Jordan 1 with metallic red accents is back on the shelves on May 6th. Tech-wise, the XIII (13) should have the normal forefoot/heel Zoom Air. The colorway features a premium upper draped in white tumbled leather accompanied by contrasting "University Red" hits on the sock liner and outsole.
KD 9 For Sale is showing now signs of slowing down on original Air Jordan 1s and the next to be released is the "Metallic Red" colorway. Just last month, a first look at the sneakers surfaced, but now Foot Locker's Release Calendar is confirming the date.Previously released in 2009 using Jumpman branding, the "Metallic Red" Air Jordan 1 returns in OG form to join last year's "Metallic Blue" pair. The white-based sneakers feature red accents throughout, with a metallic patent leather being used on the ankle collar and Swoosh. An extra set of red laces will also be included. While using a Hurricanes Green across the tumbled leather upper and patent leather overlay, the same shade runs across the tongue and laces. In addition, White lands on the midsole while an Orange translucent outsole completes the look. Overall, a perfect match for Miami Hurricanes fans.
