Doting mum: Louise has opened up about settling back into family life and how her sons are taking after their former footballer father Jamie

However, she won't be holding her breath for his dance floor debut as she previously admitted to MailOnline there's no chance of him joining her.

She laughed: 'Jamie has no interest in learning to dance at all, and I don’t blame him because he’s not the most elegant of dancers,' laughed the star.

'Incredible': Speaking to Hello! magazine, the 42-year-old former pop star admitted 'it would be incredible' to see her former England and Liverpool footballer other half waltz onto the much-loved series

Meanwhile, she explained her sons - boys Charley, 11, and Beau, eight - are taking after their former footballer father rather than her to the magazine.

She revealed: 'I think they just naturally go down that route...It's hard for the boys – people want them to be amazing footballers but just because their dad does something doesn't mean they want to do the same. Although right now the young one's definitely taking after his dad.'

The fashionista admitted her eldest son Charley is 'turning into a man' infront of her eyes as he is already the same size of Jamie but has taken an interest in fashion much like his style maven mother.

She previously admitted when she was competing on Strictly Come dancing, that she was open to having a third child with husband Jamie.

Father's footsteps: Meanwhile, she explained her sons - boys Charley, 11, and Beau, eight - are taking after their former footballer father rather than her to the magazine

'Turning into a man': Louise admitted her eldest son Charley is 'turning into a man' infront of her eyes as he is already the same size of husband Jamie

But the success she's experienced since has given her a renewed focus on her career.

She told MailOnline: 'I’m definitely not pregnant. I would really like to take the opportunity of learning the trade and getting back out there and turning it into an opportunity for me for work.'

'A lot of women stop work and have their families, which is great and the most honourable job in the world.

Career focused: She previously admitted when she was competing on Strictly Come Dancing, that she was open to having a third child with husband Jamie but now a renewed focus on her career

'At the same time, it’s great to do something for you. It’s so near to performing and what I’ve done in the past, it’s great to get out there and to learn something new and get better at it.'

The star previously said she signed up for the show as she wanted to do something for herself after years looking after her sons.

Speaking of how the show has changed her, she said: 'I think it’s just made me enjoy what it’s like to be out there and be successful and be good at something.

Passion: With a renewed passion for performing, Louise revealed she'd love to star in a West End production of Chicago

'I think they’ve (Jamie and her sons) seen a new side where I go out there and I throw everything at something. I think it’s good for the boys to see. It’s good when they see their mum being ambitious.'

With a renewed passion for performing, Louise revealed she'd love to star in a West End production of Chicago.

While she's had talks about doing various duets/guest performances, Louise doesn't believe there's a place for her in the pop world.

She said: 'I love pop music but I don’t know if the pop world is in need of someone my age.'

Moving on: While she's had talks about doing various duets/guest performances, Louise doesn't believe there's a place for her in the pop world
